The graphics have also improved in fidelity, making the dramatically lit catacombs of the Moscow Metro even creepier, and adding dynamic detail to the terrain as it breaks apart in the midst of battle. The problems with stealth and combat sequences have been addressed, promising improvements to the inconsistent enemy AI and a more forgiving system for headshots. 4A Games openly acknowledges the weaknesses of Metro 2033, and the Ukranian developer is determined to rebuild the game from the ground up. Though the atmosphere of Last Light is similar to its predecessor, the game design is receiving an overhaul. 4A Games promises real polish to make Last Light shine.
